Aaron's Plumbing employee accused of negligence in I-10 crash

GRETNA –A man claims that he was involved in a car accident involving an employee of Aaron's Plumbing due to no fault of his own.

Stephen Gregory filed a suit March 5 against Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, Aaron's Plumbing, Heating and Contracting Inc, MIchael J. Mayeux and State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence. 

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on March 6, 2017 when the plaintiff was driving on Interstate 10. Mayeux allegedly struck Gregory's car and was negligent in the operation of his own vehicle while in the scope of his work for Aaron's Plumbing.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Scott A. Decker of The Law Offices of Scott A. Decker LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Piper D. Griffin.
