A FedEx driver allegedly rear-ended a car and caused damages

GRETNA — A FedEx driver allegedly rear-ended a car.

Yves Hamilton filed a suit on March 9 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Harry Adam Vinnett, Brown Claims Management Group, Fedex Ground Package System Inc. and Crawford & Company, alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that allegedly took place on March 17, 2017 when the plaintiff was driving a car on Interstate 10. The suit claims that Vinnett, who was driving a vehicle owned by Fedex, was negligent and rear-ended the plaintiff's vehicle, causing injuries.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Britney L. Hebert of The Glenn Armentor Law Corporation in Lafayette.

The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.
