Insurance company sues hospital for more than $36,000

GRETNA – An insurance company is seeking more than $36,000.

Retailers Casualty Insurance Co. filed a suit March 13 against St. Theresa Specialty Hospital LLC in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account. 

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages, claiming that the defendant failed to pay a fee that was owed in the balance of $36,878.67 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by M. Todd Alley of Stemmans & Alley in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John Molaison Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 781547.
