Pharmacy claims insurer has not paid claim after break-in

GRETNA – A pharmacy is seeking damages for an unsettled claim after its property was broken into.

Aspen Pharmacy LLC and HG3 LLC filed a suit March 13 against Southern Underwriters Insurance Co. in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place at 5745 Plauche Court on March 18, 2017. The home was broken into by robbers who damaged the property. The defendant has failed to fully reimburse the plaintiff for the damages suffered.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Pedro Galeas of The Orleans Law Corporation in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Michael Mentz.
