GRETNA — A university is seeking more than $6,000.
The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors and Southeastern Louisiana University filed a suit on March 20 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Merlin Harvey, alleging an open account.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking $6,322.03 plus interest, claiming that the defendant failed to pay the balance off.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Amy D. Richard of Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.
