GRETNA — A woman claims that she was thrown to the ground in the emergency room by an employee.
Birdie McMurrain filed a suit on March 7 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Ochsner Health Systems and John Doe, alleging negligence.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that allegedly took place on June 21 when she allegedly was in the emergency room. The plaintiff claims that the defendant tried to force her out of the premises and knocked her down.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Megan C. Kiefer of Kiefer & Kiefer in Metairie.
