A woman allegedly tripped and fell at Elmwood Shopping Center

GRETNA — A woman claims that she was injured when she allegedly tripped and fell at a shopping center.

Mary Elizabeth Darr filed a suit on March 26 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Elmwood Village Center LLC, Elmwood South LLC and Lauricella Land Company LLC, alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that allegedly took place on March 28, 2017 when she was at Elmwood Shopping Center in Harahan. The suit says that the plaintiff allegedly was caused to trip and fall on an uneven portion of pavement, which allegedly caused her to sustain injuries.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by John M. Holahan Jr. of Reynolds and Holahan in Madisonville.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.

The 24th Judicial District Court case number 782002.
