GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages, claiming that she was injured in a shoe store.
Damiana Marclouis filed a suit March 27 against Shoe Show Inc., dba The Shoe Dept., in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on May 5, 2017 when the plaintiff was at The Shoe Dept. in the Clearview Mall. The suit states that a display fell from the wall and struck the plaintiff, injuring her.
The defendant is accused of negligence.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by William Mura Jr. of the Law Offices of Warren A. Forstall Jr. in New Orleans.
