GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages for a car accident that caused her severe injuries.
Pamela Whiticar filed a suit March 29 against Maria Castro-Urbina and Progressive Security Insurance Co. in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on April 28, 2017 when the plaintiff was driving her car on the North Causeway Boulevard. The suit claims the defendant made an illegal turn that caused the plaintiff's car to be struck and the plaintiff to be injured.
The defendant is accused of negligence.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Brett Emmanuel in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen Grefer.
