Man seeks damages following fall in restaurant parking lot

GRETNA – A man claims he was injured in the parking lot of a Mexican restaurant.

Wayne W. Vincent Jr. filed a suit March 29 against Come Back Inn Inc. and TKK LLC, dba 2 Amigos Mexican Buffet, and Hartford Casualty Insurance Co. in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Aug. 5, 2017 when the plaintiff was at the defendant's property. The suit states the plaintiff tripped and fell due to a piece of metal that was left protruding out in the parking lot, causing the plaintiff injuries.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Paul Lea Jr. in Covington.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Raymond Steib Jr.
