Helpful Hound LLC is seeking a refund of more than $30,000

NEW ORLEANS — A company claims that it is owed a refund of more than $30,000.

Helpful Hound LLC filed a lawsuit on March 22 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Fortuna Ventures Chicago LLC d/b/a Modist Furnishings and Rosetta Mitchell, alleging sums due.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that allegedly took place in January 2018 when an order of chairs allegedly did not arrive in a timely manner. The plaintiff attempted to return the items, but the defendants allegedly failed to offer a refund of any kind. The plaintiff is seeking $34,906.32 plus interest.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Linda S. Harang of the Law Offices of Warren A. Forstall Jr. LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Donald Johnson.
