GRETNA — A woman is seeking damages after a surgical procedure allegedly cost her the ability to walk.
Julie Green filed a suit on April 2 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Dr. Pamela Petrocy, Ochsner Medical Center, Ochsner Health Systems and Ochsner Health Partners. alleging negligence.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that allegedly took place on June 23, 2015 when the defendants allegedly performed orthopedic surgery on her. The suit states that the defendants allegedly were negligent, which allegedly resulted in her falling into a coma. Additionally, the plaintiff claims that she will never be able to walk again due to the surgery.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is representing herself.
