Business owner claims partner breached fiduciary duty

NEW ORLEANS – A woman claims that a co-owner of a business breached contract through failing to carry out fiduciary duties.

Cleavon Williams filed a lawsuit March 29 against Kidz Courtyard LLC, dba Creative Kidz East LLC, and Carrie Davis Henry in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place when the defendant allegedly breached fiduciary duty and failed to report all corporate assets, despite being co-owner of the business.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Marion Floyd in Kenner.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge Clare Jupiter.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 18-3127.
