NEW ORLEANS — A community college is seeking over $860.
The Louisiana Community and Technical College System through Delgado Community College filed a lawsuit on April 4 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Falyn Washington, alleging an open account.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking $864.04 plus 33.33 percent interest, claiming that the defendant was negligent in paying off the balance due.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney's fees and appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Anthony D. Winters of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division E Judge Clare Jupiter.
