GRETNA – A family is seeking damages after a relative was fatally stabbed.
Braun Schneider Jr. and Byron Schneider filed a suit April 11 against Westgate Tavern LLC, Cynthia Herrington, Susan Bergeron, JB Huey LLC, and ABC Insurance Co. in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence, wrongful death and assault.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on April 13, 2017 when the plaintiffs were at the defendant's property when one of the defendants began to fight with the plaintiff, stabbed the plaintiff, and in the end caused his death due to blood loss.
The defendant is accused of negligence, wrongful death and assault.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Timothy Richardson in Madisonville.
