GRETNA – A couple is seeking damages for an alleged slip and fall in a buffet.
Salvador Cobar and Leslie Cobar filed a suit April 11 against Jumbo Buffet of New Orleans Inc. and XYZ Insurance Co. in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on March 26, 2017 when the plaintiff was at the defendant's property at 3550 Williams Blvd in Kenner. The suit states the plaintiff was caused to slip and fall in a substance that had been left on the ground, resulting in injuries to the plaintiff.
The defendant is accused of negligence.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Howard Kaplan of Bernard, Cassisa, Elliott & Davis in Metairie.
