University of Louisiana at Lafayette claims that individual owes it more than $4,000

NEW ORLEANS — A university is seeking more than $4,000.

The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through the University of Louisiana at Lafayette filed a lawsuit on April 9 against Erin N. Lockley in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging an open account

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account in the amount of $4,457.39 plus interest, claiming that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance due.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney's fees and appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Kaila M. Hutchison of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Ethel S. Julien.
