NEW ORLEANS — American Express is seeking more than $15,000 in sums due.
American Express National Bank filed a lawsuit on April 10 against Tomas Lejba in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging an open account.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking $17,021.73 in damages plus interest, claiming that the defendant failed to pay the balance due.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney's fees and appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Gilbert G. Gonzalez Jr. of the DeGrasse Law Firm PC in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott U. Schlegel.
