NEW ORLEANS — A woman claims that she was attacked by an airline employee.
Joan Kennedy filed a lawsuit on April 9 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Spirit Airlines and Dashanique Dequair, alleging negligence and assault.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that allegedly took place on April 10, 2017 when she allegedly made a complaint at a Spirit Airlines check-in station in New Orleans. The plaintiff claims that she was injured when a Spirit Airlines employee attacked her for making the complaint.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney's fees and appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Ralph M. Steward of Jack, Harrison, Hampton & Steward.
The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Rachael Johnson.
