Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality claims that Jefferson Parish company owes it more than $1,000

GRETNA — A state agency claims that it is owed more than $1,000.

The Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality filed a suit on May 2 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Lisa R. McGill d/b/a Dee Dee's Used Tires, alleging sums due.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account in the balance of $1,410, claiming that the defendant failed to pay what it owes.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jaime D. Elsey of the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott U. Schlegel.

The 24th Judicial District Court case number 783410.
