GRETNA — A woman claims that she was injured in a car accident involving a car rental company.
Trinell Tassin filed a suit on April 25 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Angel Hernandez; her insurance company, Loya Insurance Company; Nifty Car Rental LLC; and its unknown insurance company, ABC Insurance Company, alleging negligence.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that allegedly took place on June 16 when her vehicle allegedly was struck by Hernandez, who allegedly was driving a car owned by Nifty Car Rental.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Tomy J. Acosta in LaPlace.
The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.
