Woman claims that she tripped and fell at a Ross store

GRETNA — A woman is seeking damages after she allegedly tripped and fell at a Ross store.

Danielle Scott filed a suit on April 27 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Ross Stores Inc. and XYZ Insurance Company, alleging negligence. 

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that allegedly took place on May 6, 2017 when she allegedly was caused to trip and fall on various items that had been left on the ground of a Ross store.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Leonard J. Cline in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy A. Miller.

The 24th Judicial District Court case number 783241.
