Home Check LLC allegedly failed to detect mold and water damage

GRETNA — An individual is seeking damages, claiming that a home inspector failed to detect mold and water damage.

Casey R. Daigle filed a suit on May 4 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Marco Kouzoukas, Lloyds of London Insurance Company and Home Check Inspection Services d/b/a Home Check LLC, alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff claims that the defendant was paid to inspect a home that the plaintiff was thinking about purchasing. The suit claims that the defendants failed to find massive damages to the home. As a result, the plaintiff allegedly bought the home.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Pamela W. Carter of Carter Law Group LLC in River Ridge.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John J. Molaison Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court case number 783450.
