NEW ORLEANS — A university is seeking more than $5,000.
The Louisiana State University Board of Supervisors through Louisiana State University filed a lawsuit on May 4 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Nadja Arielle Lanaux, alleging an open account.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account in the balance of $5,900, claiming that the defendant was negligent in paying off the balance due.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney's fees and appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Kaila M. Hutchison of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Nakisha Ervin-Knott.
