Carruth Brothers Lumber Company Inc. claims that it is owed over $80,000

NEW ORLEANS — A company claims that it is owed more than $80,000.

Carruth Brothers Lumber Company Inc. filed a lawsuit on May 14 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Able Renovations LLC, Regina Blanchard, John M. Blanchard and Wineman and Schall LLC, alleging an open account.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for the unpaid balances of $12,084.41, $57,354.27 and $12,258.08, plus interest, claiming that the defendants failed to pay off the balance they allegedly owe.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney's fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Michael J. Laughlin in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Christopher J. Bruno.
