Capital One is seeking nearly $3,000 from Jefferson Parish man

GRETNA — Capital One claims that a Jefferson Parish man owes it more than $2,900.

Capital One Bank filed a suit on May 21 against Cesar F. Tanchez in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account in the balance of $2,954.50, plus interest, claiming that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance allegedly due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Paul S. Brennan of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen C. Grefer.

The 24th Judicial District Court case number 784022.
