National Collegiate Student Loan Trust 2006-1 claims that two individuals owe it more than $25,000

NEW ORLEANS — A student loan trust is seeking more than $25,000 in sums due.

National Collegiate Student Loan Trust 2006-1 filed a lawsuit on May 21 against Tamika J. Points and Thomas J. Points in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging an open account.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account in the balance of $25,820.86, plus interest, claiming that the defendants have failed to pay off their alleged debt.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney's fees and appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Gregory M. Eaton of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Nakisha Ervin-Knott.
