Individual accuses American Sprinkler Company Inc. of negligence after tool allegedly fell on his head

NEW ORLEANS — A man claims that he was injured when a tool allegedly was dropped on his head.

Tor Smith filed a lawsuit on May 24 against American Sprinkler Company Inc., Joshua Higginbotham and the Standard Fire Insurance Company in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages, claiming that he was got injured when Higginbotham allegedly dropped a tool from the roof onto plaintiff's head. 

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney's fees and appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Michael J. Bourquard LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Naisha Ervin-Knott.
