Customer alleges he was injured in a slip and fall at Harahan Home Depot

GRETNA – A Jefferson Parish man claims that he was injured in a slip and fall at the Home Depot in Harahan.

George Nephew filed a suit June 5 against Home Depot U.S.A. Inc. in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff alleges he was a customer at the Home Depot in Harahan on April 5 and slipped and fell on a puddle of liquid left in an aisle. He alleges the leak was caused by a pipe that dripped liquid on the floor.

The defendant is alleged to have failed to remove the dangerous condition and warn of it.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by David Geerken and Chad Lederman of Dudley Debosier PLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott U. Schlegel.
