Louisiana Community and Technical College System alleges former student owes more than $1,000

GRETNA – A community college claims a Jefferson Parish resident failed to pay tuition.

Louisiana Community and Technical College System, through Delgado Community College, filed a suit June 4 against Destinee Amanda Woods in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff alleges the defendant failed to pay for attending Delgado Community College in 2012. It alleges it is owed $1,185.60 plus interest.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Anthony D. Winters of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Donald A. Rowan Jr.
