GRETNA – A customer claims that she was injured at a Dillard's department store.
Vanessa Humphrey filed a lawsuit June 8 against Dillard Department Stores Inc and Oakwood Shopping Center LLC, also known as General Growth Services Inc., in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the incident in question took place on June 20, 2017 when the plaintiff was at Dillard's in Oakwood Center Mall. The suit state that Humphrey slipped and fell while using a handicap exit ramp.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. She is represented by Michael Begoun of Wolfe, Begoun & Pick LLC in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn Ansardi.
