Delgado Community College seeks more than $2,700 in past-due payments

GRETNA – A community college is seeking more than $2,700 in sums due.

Louisiana Community and Technical College System, through Delgado Community College, filed a lawsuit June 12 against Clevanesha De'Shon Baker in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging that the plaintiff has failed to pay $2,769.75 plus interest, due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Scott Smith Jr. of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge Adrian Adams.
