NEW ORLEANS – Delgado Community College is seeking payment of more than $1,000 allegedly owed by a former student.
Louisiana Community and Technical College System, through Delgado Community College, filed a lawsuit June 13 against Kassandra Paige in Orleans Parish Civil District Court.
According to the complaint, the defendant's account has an outstanding balance of $1,059.41 plus interest. The college said Paige has failed to pay off the amount due.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney's fees and all appropriate relief. It is represented by Kaila Hutchison of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division E Judge Clare Jupiter.
