Barclays Bank claims customer owes more than $1,800 on credit card

GRETNA – Barclays Bank Delaware is seeking more than $1,800 allegedly due on a customer's Visa card.

The bank filed a lawsuit June 19 against Jacob Adams in the 24th Judicial District Court.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account with a balance of $1,809.38 plus interest, claiming that the defendant has failed to pay off the amount due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. It is represented by Gregory Eaton of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.
