GRETNA – A man is seeking damages for a car accident that was the fault of negligence.
Anthony Thomas filed a suit March 27 against Prime Insurance Co., Five Star Medical Inc. and John Doe in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence and reckless driving.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on March 29, 2017 when the plaintiff was in a car that was driving on Causeway Boulevard. The suit states that the plaintiff was injured when the defendant turned into the plaintiff's lane without warning.
The defendant is accused of negligence and reckless driving.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by René Tierney of Juan Lafonta & Associates in New Orleans.
