NEW ORLEANS – An individual claims he was caused to slip and fall while exiting a supermarket.

Aljaouza Ahmadou filed a lawsuit March 1 against Yousef Odeh LLC, dba Hanks Supermarket, and State Farm Fire and Casualty Co. in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on March 6, 2017 when the plaintiff was caused to slip and fall on a slippery surface while exiting a supermarket.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney LaMarre Elder of the Law Offices of Pius A. Obioha & Associates LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Ellen Hazeur.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 2018-2008.
