NEW ORLEANS – A bakery is seeking $85,000 following an alleged breach of contract.

Laurel Wholesale Bakery LLC filed a lawsuit March 16 against Harold Philippi and HMP LLC in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging breach of contract and sums due.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place in which the defendant failed to honor a purchase agreement with the plaintiff. Due to the actions of the defendant, the plaintiff is now seeking a refund of the balance paid to the defendant of $85,000 and damages suffered.

The defendant is accused of sums due and breach of contract.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney William Daume in Gretna.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Ellen Hazeur.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 18-2593.
