Couple seeks damages after wife allegedly fell in Winn-Dixie

NEW ORLEANS – A couple is seeking damages resulting from an allged fall in a Winn-Dixie store.

Jacqueline and Melvin Creecy filed a lawsuit July 11 against Tenecia Price, Darren Lathan, Winn-Dixie Montgomery LLC and ABC Insurance Co. in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, Jacqueline Creecy allegedly tripped and fell on a pallet left in the middle of the aisle at a Winn-Dixie in New Orleans on July 11, 2017.

The plaintiffs seek all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney's fees and other appropriate relief. They are represented by Derek Terrell Russ of Russ Law Firm LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry Sullivan Jr.
