Delgado Community College seeks more than $1,000 from former student

GRETNA – A community college is seeking more than $1,000 in sums due.

Louisiana Community and Technical College System through Delgado Community College filed a suit July 17 against Courtney Lynn Girod in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages in an open account for the balance of $1,033.21 plus interest, claiming that the defendant has failed to pay off the sums due.

The defendant is accused of open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Amy Richard of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John Molaison Jr.
