Space Walk named as defendant in personal injury lawsuit

GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages for an injury she says took place on an inflatable slide.

Anslee Heausler filed a suit July 17 against Inflatable Zoo of Louisiana LLC, dba Space Walk, in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on June 9, 2018 when the plaintiff was at her house and renting an inflatable water slide. When the plaintiff attempted to go down the slide, she was injured due to a defective setup of the slide.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by George Recile of Chehardy, Sherman, Williams, Murray, Recile, Stakelum & Hayes LLP in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle Taylor.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 785719.
