University of New Orleans claims it is owed more than $4,600

NEW ORLEANS – A university is seeking more than $4,600 in sums due.

University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through University of New Orleans filed a lawsuit July 13 against John Jarred Renshaw in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging open account.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account, alleging that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance due of $4,687 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of open account.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Kaila Hutchison of the Louisiana Department of Justice.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Rachael Johnson.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 18-6863.
