Woman says she slipped and fell in Acme Oyster House

GRETNA – A woman claims that she was caused to trip and fall on an uneven surface.

Renella Cambre filed a suit July 16 against Nautilus Insurance Co. and Rawbar Inc., dba Acme Oyster House, in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Sept. 9, 2017 when the plaintiff was in the Acme Oyster House and was caused to trip and fall on an uneven surface that was not marked.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Anthony Irpino of Irpino, Avin & Hawkins Law Firm in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division P Judge Lee Faulkner Jr.
