Central City Housing blamed for slip and fall at apartment complex

NEW ORLEANS – An individual is seeking damages for a slip and fall in a housing development.

NEW ORLEANS – An individual is seeking damages for a slip and fall in a housing development.

Carry Roberts filed a lawsuit July 12 against Central City Housing Development Corp. in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, Roberts allegedly slipped and fell on water left on the ground at an apartment complex operated by Central City Housing on Aug. 13, 2017.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney's fees and all appropriate relief. It is represented by Brian King of The King Law Firm LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Rachael Johnson.
