Woman claims she was struck by a Taco Bell employee

NEW ORLEANS – A woman is seeking damages, claiming she was assaulted by a Taco Bell employee.

Aisha Cole, individually and on behalf of her minor daughter, filed a lawsuit B&G Food Enterprises LLC, dba Taco Bell, and Justin J. Davis in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligence and assault.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on September 24, 2017 when the plaintiff was at a Taco Bell when an employee allegedly struck him over the head with a bag that contained a hard object.

The defendant is accused of negligence and assault.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney George Recile of Chehardy, Sherman, Williams, Murray, Recile, Stakelum & Hayles LLP in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge Melvin Zeno.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 18-6980.
