GRETNA – A mortgage corporation is seeking more than $72,000.

Standard Mortgage Corp. filed a suit July 18 against Sherry Dufour Dufren, aka Sherry Dufour Dufren Brown, divorced wife of/and Armond A. Dufren Jr. in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due on a mortgage.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an unpaid mortgage in the balance of $72,950.00 plus interest, claiming that the defendant has failed to pay the monthly payments required.

The defendant is accused of sums due on a mortgage.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Fred Daigle of Graham, Arceneaux & Allen LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott Schlegel.
