GRETNA – A man is seeking damages in connection with an alleged fall outside of his house.
Akbar Zarbakhsh filed a lawsuit July 20 against the Parish of Jefferson in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, on July 24, 2017, Zarbakhsh allegedly fell into a hole in the ground on Nursery Avenue in Metairie when he was cutting the grass in front of his house, resulting in serious injuries.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. He is represented by William Legrand in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.
