GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages for a slip and fall in a Walmart.

Aliki Swatt filed a suit July 25 against WalMart Stores Inc in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on July 25, 2017 when the plaintiff was at the Walmart at 3285 Manhattan Blvd. in Harvey. The plaintiff claims that she was caused to slip and fall on a bunch of grapes that had been left on the ground.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Stephen Chouest

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott Schlegel.
