Delgado Community College seeks past-due payment from former student

NEW ORLEANS – Delgado Community College filed a lawsuit claiming a former student owes more than $2,800 on an open account.

The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors, through Delgado Community College, filed a lawsuit July 18 against Rondel Wilson in Orleans Parish Civil District Court.

According to the complaint, the defendant has allegedly failed to pay off the balance due of $2,887.50, plus interest.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney's fees and all appropriate relief. It is represented by attorney Anthony Winters of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Rachael Johnson.
