Community college seeks over $1,100 from former student

NEW ORLEANS – A community college is seeking more than $1,100 in sums due.

Louisiana Community and Technical College system through Delgado Community College filed a lawsuit July 23 against Vaughn Raymond Lazarus in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging sums due.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due in the balance of $1,155.35 plus interest, alleging that the defendant has failed to pay off the sums due.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Kaila M. Hutchison of the Louisiana Department of Justice of Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Kern A. Reese.
