State claims discovery of marijuana in man's home

GRETNA – The state of Louisiana is seeking damages for the possession of an illegal substance.

GRETNA – The state of Louisiana is seeking damages for the possession of an illegal substance.

The State of Louisiana filed a suit Aug. 1 against Johnny Pham in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging possession of an illegal substance.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident alleging that they discovered more than 400 grams of marijuana in the home of a resident.

The defendant is accused of possession of an illegal substance.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by David Wheeler in Gretna.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius Regan.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 786226.
